Connect an AI assistant

Use SSP Studio as a remote MCP server in ChatGPT, Claude, or Claude Code. Your assistant can list, read, and update your System Security Plans as you.

Copy this URL and paste it into your AI assistant's MCP or custom connector settings.

Connect

  1. 1Open the Add custom connector dialog in Claude. The name and URL are prefilled.
  2. 2Review the details and click Add.
  3. 3If the prefilled form does not open, go to Claude's Connectors page, choose Add custom connector, name it SSP Studio, and paste the MCP URL above.
  4. 4Enable the connector from the chat composer, then ask Claude to use SSP Studio.

Refresh after the app changes

Connected assistants cache the tool list. After SSP Studio is updated, refresh the connector to get the latest tools.

Claude

  1. Open the Connectors page and select this connector.
  2. Refresh or update the connector's tools.
  3. If the URL changed, remove the connector and add it again using the steps above.

ChatGPT

  1. Open ChatGPT's Plugins page and select this app.
  2. Scroll to Information and click Refresh.
  3. If the URL changed, delete the app from Plugins and recreate it.

Claude Code

  1. Start a new Claude Code session to load the latest tools.
  2. If the URL changed, run claude mcp remove ssp-studio, then run the install command again.

Other clients

  1. Open the MCP server or connector settings.
  2. Select this connection and refresh the tool list or reload the server.
  3. If the URL changed, paste the latest MCP URL above.
